Your preferred signature method is saved in profile and reused in the authenticated signing experience. That small preference can save time when you sign frequently.
Before you begin
Profile access
An understanding of whether you prefer draw, type, or upload
If uploading, a signature image ready for use
Set the default in profile
Open Profile & Signature Identity and choose the method that should open first during authenticated signing.
This does not lock you into that choice forever; it simply reduces repeated setup.
Choose based on your normal device
Desktop-heavy users may prefer typed or upload, while touch-device users may prefer drawn.
The right choice depends on how you actually sign most often.
Revisit the choice if your workflow changes
If you move from desktop to mobile-heavy signing or start using a cleaner uploaded mark, update the preference so it keeps helping.
Treat it as a usability setting, not a compliance setting.
