Signelio supports multiple signature methods so the signer can balance speed, appearance, and device constraints. The best method depends on the workflow and the device being used.

Before you begin

A signing session or recipient workflow

A preferred default saved in profile if you are an authenticated signer

Awareness of any internal style or policy expectations

Use typed for speed

Typed signatures are easy to complete on desktop and mobile when speed matters more than stylus-like appearance.

They are also useful for first-time signers who do not want to draw on screen.

Use drawn for a more handwritten feel

Drawn signatures can feel more familiar, especially on touch devices.

They work best when the signer is comfortable signing on the device screen.

Use upload when the signer has an existing mark

Uploaded signatures are useful when a signer already maintains a clean signature image.

Keep uploaded files private and high quality so final output remains readable.

Pro Tips

Save your default preference in Profile so authenticated signing starts faster.

If a signer struggles on mobile, suggest typed first.

Test uploaded signatures on a sample workflow before using them in production.
