Settings is intentionally explicit about current-state availability. Some controls are fully backed by live Convex data, while others are clearly labeled as planned, enterprise-coordinated, or not yet self-serve.

Before you begin

Access to the authenticated settings shell

A question about what is live versus planned

A willingness to use support or contact paths when needed

Use live settings for profile, notifications, and compliance defaults

Profile, notification preferences, reminder defaults, and compliance retention choices are all meaningful current-state controls.

These are the settings you should use for day-to-day operational management.

Read security and billing labels carefully

Security and billing pages are honest about planned MFA, limited session history, enterprise-only SSO coordination, and team-assisted billing changes.

If something is labeled coming soon or team-coordinated, treat that as the source of truth.

Use the right escalation path

If the control you need is not live yet, use Contact Us or Support instead of inventing an unsupported workaround.

That keeps expectations aligned and protects workflow integrity.

Pro Tips

Review settings copy literally; it is designed to distinguish live features from planned ones.

Use Contact Us when you need something the current UI clearly marks as manual or enterprise-coordinated.

Keep one internal owner responsible for workspace defaults so settings stay coherent.
