Starter presets can speed up the first step of document creation, but they are not full reusable template management yet. In the current rollout they prefill draft context only, and every later step remains editable.
A new document draft
A rough idea of the package type you want to send
Expectation that you will still configure recipients, fields, and delivery settings manually
The wizard currently ships with starter presets such as NDA Agreement, Service Contract, and Employment Offer.
Selecting one updates draft copy and context, but it does not lock the workflow into a fixed field map or server-side template.
After selecting a preset, edit the title, description, category, tags, and expiration details so the draft reflects the real package you are preparing.
You can still upload any supported PDF and continue through the normal recipient and review steps.
Starter presets do not currently create reusable field templates, shared template libraries, or one-click team template rollout.
If your team needs that level of standardization, document the workflow and coordinate with Signelio before assuming it is live today.
Treat presets as a drafting shortcut, not a compliance control.
Rename the package after choosing a preset so the final archive is clear.
Keep a simple internal checklist for repeated document types until fuller template tooling is available.
Use this as a quick signal while the public knowledge base is static.
